The tech company’s wholistic approach to developing an entire policing platform by integrating biometric scanners, equipment operation and computer database access into the Kia Stinger has earned Fujitsu the award under the “Smart Technology” category.
The project’s aim was to remove the dangerous, cumbersome and inhibiting ad-hoc installation, operation and adaptation of current police vehicle systems by embedding them into an ergonomic cabin layout.
